Honestly, we are arriving at one point that a lot of projects are obsolete...there are so many open source projects that do exactly the same thing coded in different ways... it's like..let's find a solution to spend some of our free time ...
That's why i defend Microsoft in this issue/point of view ... not open source projects ... especially in Operating systems that deal with sensible data...
